The gothic quarter is certainly the heart of Barcelonas old town.
Characteristic for this part of the town are the narrow midiaeval lanes with numerous shops, bars, restaurants, etc.
Here you can go for endless walks and discover new places.
Very worth seeing are the ‘Ramblas’, the gothic cathedral, parts of the old town wall, the theater ‘Liceu’, the market ‘Boqueria’, the ‘Plaza Catalunya’ and much more.

A recently refurbished stylish studio apartment in a very charming part of Barcelona, with 35sqm and room for up to 3 people. The decoration is a mixture of minimal style and homely compliments such as plants and art prints.
El Born is a beautiful and historical area, with plenty of entertainment and culture. Some of the best galleries, restaurants and bars of the city are here. You can reach Las Ramblas on foot in 10 minutes. The beaches are also at walking distance.
There are two comfortable single beds (which can be made into a double), and plenty of storage space for your clothes.
You wil find a further double sofa bed in the living space.
The bathroom has a modern white suite complete with shower, washbasin and toilet.
In the living/dining area there is a table and chairs as well as the sofa, so you may spend mealtimes indoors if you wish. You will also find a flatscreen TV and music player.
A fully equipped kitchenette will allow you to take advantage of a self-catering holiday. Make sure to visit the excellent delicatessens in the area, as well as Boqueria market on Las Ramblas.
Situated in a typical building of the area, on the 3rd floor without a lift.
A good choice for a couple or small family who want to see the sights of Barcelona on foot and enjoy this multicultural bohemian quarter!
