Very well attainable and calm district.
Here we find important buildings like the fair of Barcelona, the congress palace, the fountain at the Montjuic, the Miró museum, the olympic stadium and the `Palau Sant Jordi’, the landmark of the olympic games of Barcelona 1992.
There is also the ‘Poble Espanyol’.
The Poble Espanyol is a watercolour painting which portrays the different people and cultures of Spain, represented in the form of streets and squares, monuments and buildings.
Ideal to spend one day there.

Magic fountain is your best bet to spend a fantastic and homely vacation in Barcelona.
It is a huge and comfortable 120sqm apartment in one of the best areas of Barcelona: centric but in a calm and safe neighbourhood.
Ten minutes from La Rambla by direct bus and metro.
Why is children friendly? Your little ones will love the children's room, with a wooden house bunk bed to sleep inside, and toys for if there is bad weather.
This is the place where I brought up my own children before moving to the Balearic islands.
With 3 bedrooms plus a sofa bed this an ideal apartment for 2/3 families with or without children (up to 6 adults only) to have their afternoon nap before going out, and a good night´s sleep afterwards.
2 comfortable double bedrooms and one with single bed and camp bed. Both have shelves and drawers to keep your clothes in after unpacking.
On a practical note this is a great place to stay too. Everything you need is close by: shops, supermarkets, pay-parking for your car, great restaurants.
You will also find all the facilities that you need, from a full equipped brand new kitchen to an ironing board, and soap and hairdryer in the bathroom. So, you don't need to pack them!
Local phone calls are free, and you have free Internet access.
The antique entrance has been restored to its original form, and there is a lift to the 4th floor.
In summer this is the ideal place for a mixed vacation of city & beach.
You have direct buses and metro to all the beautiful Barcelona beaches, as well as to Castelldefels and Gava. A short train journey will bring you to Sitges and the Costa Brava.
